The people I worked with were energetic, supportive and wanted to see me succeed. If I could do it again I would. I was asked to be the Project Lead for our agency’s engagement with the Office of the National Data Commissioner and an external consultancy. It was a 6-month project and what I loved about it was the engagement with people across the agency and government and the responsibility and trust from my SES in letting me run with it and deliver. What makes the DTA a great place to start is that it's a smaller agency and therefore makes it very easy to get to know most of the people across the business and build connections. This is so important in the years following your graduate year.
