It was throughout university that I developed a liking for asset management and corporate finance, and after experiencing data analytics at the ANAO, my desire to learn data analysis was born.

Daniel studied Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronic) and Bachelor of Mathematical and Computer Science (Computer Science) at the University of Adelaide and is now an Underwater Weapons Engineer at the Department of Defence.

Jack studied Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Development Studies at the University of Adelaide and is now a Government Lawyer at the department.

It is about seeing beyond the task in front of you and understanding how that piece of work fits in with other related programs.

Providing secretariat support for this division was a really exciting piece of work to be involved in and a fantastic introduction to policy work.

The diverse subject matter on which we advise also means I’m constantly learning about new topics and areas of law.

I was taken on by the BoM because my extensive studies showed that I had the capacity to be trained for and perform the job well.

I think one of the unique aspects of being a graduate is that you get to be a part of so many opportunities at work.
