Introduction

Welcome to RBA’s Technical Business Analyst Virtual Experience.

Starting your career at Australia's central bank will give you the opportunity to make a difference to the lives of all Australians. Our two-year Graduate Development Program offers comprehensive training, coaching and development in a supportive environment. It allows you to undertake meaningful work from day one and to apply the knowledge acquired at university in challenging real-world situations.

What you’ll learn

The IT department currently has a process in place to raise and manage requests to add or modify firewall rules. A potential need has been identified to overhaul this process. You have been asked, as a Technical Business Analyst, to engage with stakeholders, identify the project requirements, and propose a new process model.

The modules in this virtual experience will begin to explore the wide variety of skills that you can expect to develop in a Technical Business Analyst rotation in the RBA Graduate Program. Your tasks will include:

  • Data visualisation
  • Creating agile user stories
  • Documenting business requirements
  • Process Modelling
